Heads up — Windows SmartScreen warning is expected

Until our Extended Validation code-signing certificate goes live, Windows Defender SmartScreen will show a “Windows protected your PC” popup the first time you run our installers. This is a reputation signal, not a malware warning — every new publisher hits it.

Install firstSmartScreen: Run anyway

The shared local server all clients talk to. Runs silently in the background on port 19741, auto-starts at login, drops a gold S in your system tray. No admin rights. Install this first so VS Code, Desktop and Browser all share one writer.

Download .zip (Windows x64)
  1. Unzip anywhere (e.g. C:\Users\<you>\SOAGILA).
  2. Right-click install.ps1 → Run with PowerShell.
  3. The installer runs silently, registers a startup entry, and launches the daemon. A Windows toast tells you when it's ready.
  4. Look for the gold S in your system tray. Right-click it for the menu.

VS Code / Cursor / Windsurf Extension

Persistent memory for Claude Code and other MCP-aware agents. 12 tools (remember, recall, snapshot, restore, status, receipt…) exposed via Model Context Protocol. Auto-installs the .claude/hooks.json so snapshots fire before compaction.

  1. Click the Marketplace button and press Install.
  2. Open any project folder — the extension activates automatically.
  3. Ctrl+Shift+P → "SOAGILA: Sign In" (or open the dashboard for one-click deep-link sign-in).
  4. Start coding with Claude — memories flow in automatically.

  1. Run the installer (no admin rights needed).
  2. Launch SOAGILA from the Start Menu.
  3. Sign in once — the app picks up the daemon automatically.
  4. Auto-update checks every 4 hours, so you never touch it again.
